Actually, that should say make the damn snow melt!
Half of NW Indiana is closed? Really? On the day I need to go home? Go freakin figure.
Finals have started and I am already for them to be over. Like now.
This week just started and already it's crap.
I am just ready to be done with this semester and be out of here. I want my room and my kitties and puppy.
And I don't want to do my technology project. Because its stupid. I don't have time and I don't have the patience.
Sorry for ranting, but I just had to.
Happy Freakin Finals Week!

Baby, It's Cold Outside
December is finally here! There's snow on the ground, presents under the (Charlie Brown) tree, and my warm jacket has made it's debut! The first big snow of the season happened this weekend and it is almost gone already. Finals are one week away and I'm procrastinating as usual. I have a group project, a technology presentation and an English paper to do on top of studying for a music and a history final exam, but I'd rather be watching Christmas movies or playing in the snow!
My Christmas shopping is almost done, which is good. The Christmas music started at least a month ago and is still going strong here :) The room is decorated and we have 3 Christmas trees as of right now. And paper chains going across the common room like Buddy makes for the store :)
Our tree at home is epic! It looks like it could be in a hotel or something!
It was insanely cold today. Like, cold to the point that it made my eyes hurt.
It is currently 3:20 in the morning. That's right, I said morning. I should be working on my cultural competency portfolio right now. Well, obviously I'm not. I am so fed up with homework it's not even funny. I just laughed for five minutes at nothing because I'm so tired. Oh, and there is a scary noise coming from the common room and we are scared to open the door. It is not a good night.
We have to give our group presentation tomorrow and I have a feeling it is not going to go well. I have half a mind to preface it with 'I'm tired, I know it sucks, don't screw with me'. But, I won't.
On the bright side, once the project and my portfolio are done it means that I can sleep again! Yay!
I suppose it's time for me to go back to homework. So for all of you out there who won't read this until you wake up from your wonderful slumber, just know that I am secretly hating your guts :)

Speak Now
I recently heard the new TSwift CD and am officially in love. I'm pretty sure Dear John is my favorite but the whole album is great! I'm also in love with Never Grow Up. The more I listen to the CD the more I love it :)
I would definitely recommend buying this. If you liked her previous albums, you'll like this one too!

Science Fiction Double Feature
The third Pretty Little Liar...
Emily Fields
Costume: This is probably the easiest of the PLLs. Wear a pair of shorts or a denim mini skirt and a cute, simple thermal or tee. Add a pair of Pumas or Addidas sneakers and you're ready to go.
Extras: Cell phone again. Wear a bracelet with your name on it and look at it longingly at random intervals.
Bonus Points: Act insecure sometimes and don't forget to have someone dress up like Maya!
Only one more day until Halloween and one more costume!!

Monster Mash
Here's another PLL leading lady for you!
Hanna Marin
Hanna Marin
Costume: To be Rosewood's it girl and fashionista wear only designer duds, or for those of you on a budget (like me) grab some designer knock-offs. A pair of shorts, to show off your toned legs, a low-cut shirt and a trendy blazer over it. Wear some hot heels, the higher the better, and carry an oversized bag.
Extras: Cell phone is a must for this one too. A pair of designer sunglasses (don't steal them like Hanna did though) and some secrets of your own are a great way to polish the look.

Secret
I know it's been awhile but it was a crazy weekend. So, to continue with the Halloween costume theme, I'm gonna finish the 'series' off with the ladies of Pretty Little Liars.
Aria Montgomery
Costume: To dress up as this PLL leading lady, wear a printed dress over a pair of tights and under a hot jacket. Add a pair of boots and a funky necklace.Extras: Carry around a book of poetry and always have your cell phone. Check it often and gasp when A sends you a message. You need to have a lot of secrets!

Bad Things
Today's costume? Everyone's favorite telepath from True Blood.
Sookie Stackhouse
Costume: There are actually two ways you could go. The most obvious would be the Merlotte's uniform (which can be found at Hot Topic). Find yourself a pair of black shorts and the shirt and apron and you're good to go! Get a blond wig, the curlier the better, and sweep it in a ponytail. You could also just wear a little sundress and shrug and put a little headband in your hair. Either way, you're good to go!
Extras: Bite marks on your neck, an order pad (for the waitress outfit) and talk in a southern accent.
Bonus Points: Try reading people's minds. :)
