Pieces of Me

So, I decided that since earlier my post was kind of a big rant I'd post something a little more fun. It was also a nice break from all the homework my professors thought would make my weekend better. I got the questions from The Nearsighted Owl, a blog which I found recently that I really enjoy, and decided to write down the A-Z's of me. So, enjoy!

A. Age:20

B. Bed size: Now this one depends on where I'm at. Most of the time I have a tiny college twin bed that totally sucks. When I come home for the weekend however, I have a lovely full size bed that I enjoy spreading out on and sleeping with my kitty.
C. Chore that you hate: Dishes. Fuck dishes.
D. Dogs: I has one! Her name is Ooma and she has jank teeth and is totally adorable. And she misses me when I'm at school.
E. Essential start to your day:
F. Favorite color: I'm not really sure what it's exactly called but it's a light aqua/turquoise/blue-green-ish color. However, I also just like the color blue in general.
G. Gold or Silver: I would probably say silver, although I don't really wear jewelry all that much. My favorite necklace however, is gold; it's a cross that my grandma gave me when I was younger, so I like gold as well.
H. Height: 5’9"
I. Instruments you play: Does singing count? I love to sing, but I can't play any instruments. I tried to take band in middle school but I couldn't play any of the instruments. Like, I literally could not play any of them. Then I took guitar lessons in high school. And hated it. So, I still can't play any instruments. But I can sing!
J. Job title: Student! I do homework all the damn time. I am also in my junior year so I am doing student teaching two days a week now. So I suppose I'm also a Student-Teacher.
K. Kids: My kitty! I love my Luna!

L. Live: Indianapolis. Although, I rarely actually ever go into the city.
M. Mother’s name: Kimberly.
N. Nicknames: Well, I guess Katie is a nickname since my actual name is Kaitlyn.
O. Overnight hospital stays: When I was a baby. And that's it.
P. Pet peeves: Bad spellers (I was in spellbowl in high school), ignorant, stupid people and bad drivers.

R. Right or left handed: Right!

S. Siblings: Little sister in 6th grade who is super awesome.
T. Time you wake up: 6 am (eww) on Tuesdays and Thursdays and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I can sleep until 8. I can wake up whenever the hell I want on Friday, Saturday and Sunday :)
U. Underwear: Well, I wear them. And I like colorful pairs.
V. Vegetable you hate: Brussels Sprouts. My mom and my sister love them. The smell makes me nauseous.
W. What makes you run late: The internet. I have to check Facebook and Twitter before I leave in the morning so if someone is having a really dramatic day and I can't help but get sucked in, it makes me late.
X. X-Rays you’ve had: My chest, my ankle, probably my other ankle.
Y. Yummy food that you make: Cupcakes! I even have an awesome icing gun!
Z. Zoo animal: Kitties!!! Also I like the giraffes. And dolphins.

Don't Stop Believin

I would just like everyone to know that while I am missing Puck, who is in juvenile detention, Sam is really nice to have around. The first time he sang on the premiere I just melted. But then when he sang last night with Quinn, man did I wish I was her! Last night's episode in general was awesome. If I were the one voting, I would've picked Santana and Mercedes though. They sounded amazing!  

On to other things, I stumbled on this on the internet and thought I would share it.

It's midterms week! Actually it's the third day of midterms week and I only had one actual midterm. But, only two more classes until fall break! Plus, my teacher canceled my one class on Friday so I get to start mine early! Scheduling for next semester is coming up as well. I finished mine last week but I keep changing things around.

In other news, I finished reading The Bell Jar finally. I have started my Christmas shopping. Ooh! And I got my nails done last weekend with Alyssa and Ashleigh.

Get Low

My newest addiction? Vampire Diaries. I am in loveeeee with Ian Somerhalder! He is so gorgeous. I would like to thank my suitemate Ashleigh for getting me hooked!

Hot vampires aside, obviously I'm taking a break from the Grey's Anatomy. I just haven't had the time to write in awhile with school. I wrote three papers yesterday. Sure, I've had the assignment for forever, but I procrastinate and did all three in one day. School can be over any time now.

I spent the weekend with Alyssa. We went shopping in Cincinnati and saw the new movie, 'You Again'. HIlarious. The movie itself was almost as funny as when Alyssa fell down the stairs in the theater! The mall in Cincy was awesome. And I got a pair of jeans that are actually long enough! Yay!

Tonight, though, was soo much fun. We had a toga party down in the lobby of my building. I went with my suitemates and dang were there some amazing dancers there. Also, our togas were awesome :) 

This week has been like the week from hell up until today. Didn't go to my first two classes and then turned my paper in for the third and got to leave! Then watched some SNL with my suitemates and went to the toga party! Tonight definitely made up for the stress of Monday and Tuesday.

Only two more days until the weekend! And I cannot wait! Going home for my little cousin's birthday. Well, that's all for now.

Hello all you readers out there. This blog has absolutely no purpose other than another form of procrastination for me.


I'm going to start off by saying that I absolutely cannot wait for the premiere of Grey's Anatomy in exactly two weeks! As the URL suggest, I love, love, loveeeeee Grey's Anatomy. I am an addict and I admit it. 


Currently, I am watching The Hangover with some lovely ladies that I call my roommates instead of doing my homework for class tomorrow.


Speaking of class tomorrow, I have English. Which I hate. Which is totally not normal. Usually I love English, but this is an English class where we read no books and write about one topic for 16 weeks: the separation of church and state. I don't want to write about that topic for 16 weeks, just sayin.

We didn't get proposed to on the big screen:(

I would like to let you all know about the most amazing concert I went to last Friday. Kings of Leon, the Whigs and the Black Keys were playing in Noblesville an they were absolutely amazing. Sadly, neither Alyssa or I got proposed to on the big screen. But, we did have the most HIlarious concert buddies of all time. They weren't people that we actually went to the concert with, they were just the people we ended up sitting by. They were the funniest drunk/high people I have ever seen. And they were THE most amazing dancers I have ever seen as well :) It was an amazing concert. Then we went to White Castle.


Not much going on now, though. Tomorrow I go home for the weekend and then back here to Indy on Sunday for another week of fun fun classes! Ha!


I suppose I should start my English homework, so that's all for now! Until next time....
