Blowin' in the Wind

"All I can do is be me, whoever that is." -Bob Dylan

That's right, Mr. Bob Dylan. Why is he the theme of my blog today? Well, I am in a Bob Dylan mood, but mostly because it reminds me of my senior English class in high school.

Two years ago today, I probably couldn't tell you who Bob Dylan was, other than an old singer. Then in AP Lit, Mr. Deal taught us about the beat generation and, wouldn't you know it, Bob Dylan.

Then last year in English 102, I wrote a paper about Bob Dylan's music and the beat generation for a short story we read.

What am I doing in English this year, you may ask? Writing three separate papers about the separation of church and state. If you couldn't tell, I am not happy about this. I don't have anything new to say on the subject and I certainly don't have anything to say for three whole essays.

And that's my rant for this morning :)
